What happens on the day?
Your meet the meerkats experience starts upon your arrival at the park, where you will be provided a welcome drink. You will then be greeted by one of the parks enthusiastic animal keepers and meerkat expert who can personally answer all your questions and queries such as; where do meerkats live? what do meerkats eat? where do meerkats come from? and before you know it, you'll be an meerkat expert too.
Once you are all glued up on your meerkat facts it'll be time to meet the meerkats personally, your animal keeper will escort you to the meerkat enclosure, where you will receive a short health & safety briefing. Your meerkat encounter then begins. With guidance from your trainer you'll be able to hand feed the meerkats and witness first-hand the mischievous behaviour of these popular animals.
Once your meerkat encounter is over you'll receive a presentation certificate and a t-shirt as a memento of an unforgettable day. As an extra bonus participants are welcome to arrive early and stay until the park closes to enjoy all the other animals and attractions at Paradise Wildlife Park.
